And so it begins!

Finally I have my own little space where I can share my stories, my own personal blog. I had to wait a long time for this and I’m very exited that it’s finally here!

I started thinking about my own blog almost a year ago. Why did it take so long to finally have one? At first I wanted to be sure that I could invest enough time to maintain a blog. When you want to do this the right way, you have to put a lot of time in it. So it took me a while to figure it out. When I realized that I was fantasizing a lot about it I decided: Let’s go for it, we’ll figure it out!  I found out that it wasn’t that easy.

To begin with my domain name. My previous boyfriend bought it for me because he was planning to make a website from scratch for me. This worked out very well until our break up … This was a very hard time for the both of us and we both needed our space. In the meantime I tried to start a blog in other ways. I already began with an Instragram page , which I will definitly pursue. Then I tried blogging on Tumblr. I soon discovered that I didn’t like it and that I really wanted my domain name in my owns hands. But I had to get in contact with my ex again. A decision which I had to think through. So after thinking about it for quite some time, I got over it and asked to move the domain name to my account. Why I waited so long to do this? I don’t know, my ex was very understanding and it was fixed in just ten minutes.

After that was done, I didn’t waste any more time on waiting and created my new version of Elistyle! And here I am. Proud of my own little space and very exited to share my stories with my beloved readers.
